If you have a 6' flagpole mounted to your home or building at ground level, a 3'x5' American flag is the perfect size. This is typical and suggested for most homes or businesses which have a flagpole mounted to the side of the structure. When flying a flag on a flagpole, the standard rule of thumb is that the the flag will be one quarter of the height of the pole. For example, a 25-foot residential flagpole would fly a 4x6’ flag. A great way to determine your ideal flag and flagpole dimensions is to call us directly to discuss your project with us! If you would like a flagpole that is over 50’, then we are happy to discuss this option! We have installed flagpoles as high as 80’ and no project is too big or small for our team.
